The Civic Impact Alliance

The Civic Impact Alliance

The Civic Impact Alliance is a Community Programs Accelerator-led coalition that serves as a hub for graduate and undergraduate social impact consulting RSOs at the University of Chicago and community organizations operating in the city of Chicago.

Each year, the Community Programs Accelerator will support a cohort of high-achieving consulting RSOs at the University of Chicago by providing them with client recruitment and strategic support services to enhance their capacity.

Client Recruitment Services

One of the most time consuming activities for student consulting groups is the recruitment of clients. The Community Programs Accelerator has cultivated a robust and long-standing relationship with the Chicago community, with over seventy applications to the Accelerator submitted by nonprofit organizations in 2017.

The Civic Impact Alliance will provide members of the coalition with access to the CPA pool of clients, thereby allowing them to save time on their own recruitment and expand their operations.

Strategic Support Services

Educational support is essential for a meaningful student experience in social impact consulting. The Community Programs Accelerator has extensive experience hosting educational forums and seminars and facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships.

The Civic Impact Alliance will provide educational support to its members through seminars, forums, office hours with professional consultants, and networking opportunities in order to galvanize improvements in student-led programming.
