South Side Strong Summit
Please join us for the 3rd annual South Side Strong Summit, hosted by the Office of Civic Engagement at the University of Chicago.
This year’s theme, “Connecting Community. Catalyzing Impact,” will focus on exploring collaborative strategies for achieving positive transformational change, with a special emphasis on community violence intervention and prevention.
This in-person event will provide a forum for civic leaders and nonprofit professionals from across the South Side to:
- Connect: Network with peers and build valuable, lasting relationships.
- Exchange: Share experiences, perspectives, and knowledge on sector best practices and available resources.
- Accelerate: Discover innovative strategies to amplify your organization's positive impact in building a stronger, more resilient South Side.
The summit will feature a four-track plenary program, offering 12 informative sessions covering governance, leadership development, emerging areas, nonprofit fundamentals, and opportunities for collaboration and networking. We hope you'll be able to participate in this opportunity to exchange ideas and gain valuable insights from peers and experts in the field.
