The Summit, the Community Programs Accelerator's (CPA) first full-day conference for South Side nonprofit leaders, aims to connect nonprofit professionals with each other and the University; promote knowledge exchange on sector best practices and available resources; and ultimately accelerate the positive impact participating organizations have in their communities.

The morning session is open to all, and we will welcome the South Side nonprofits selected to participate in the Accelerator's 2022 cohort, honor the graduates of the Certificate in Nonprofit Management program (a joint initiative of the Accelerator and the UChicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice), and recognize the 2022 Accelerator Nonprofit Leadership Impact Award Honoree.

The full-day event is open only to CPA alumni and prospective organizations located in or serving residents of the nine South Side neighborhoods in the University’s focus area.* The full-day will feature a host of speakers and networking opportunities in addition to a multi-track program focusing on organizational governance, emerging areas in nonprofit management, and leadership development.
