The South Side College and Career Catalyst program (C3) at the University of Chicago provides first generation, low-income, or underrepresented Chicago public high school students from the South Side with year-round college and career exploration activities and educational opportunities to prepare them for academic and career success. The program, led by the college and career readiness team at the University’s Office of Civic Engagement, carries on a proud legacy, building on college readiness programming the University of Chicago has offered to South Side Chicago public high school students for more than 50 years.
