Leadership: Building a Supportive Climate

Every organization has a climate. People may not be able to name it, but everyone feels it. An organization’s climate affects every aspect of its life: its actions and activities, how persons relate to each other, how information flows, how people work together, how decisions are made. An organization’s climate can inhibit the fulfillment of its mission or it can enable it. Climate must be a major concern of every leader. This workshop will provide leaders with resources for building an organizational climate that expresses the organization’s mission.

Instructor: Paul Dietterich, Th.D., Director Emeritus of The Center for Parish Development and author of Foretaste: Leadership for the Missional Church. Cascade Books, 2019.
